Bali Rattan Furniture Wholesale is a sourcing and export desk, not a factory. That distinction — desk, not factory — is the most useful thing to know about us before you send an enquiry. Plenty of export websites imply they own every workshop in their photos. We do not own the workshops, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we own is the process: sourcing, spec control, inspection, consolidation, and the paperwork that moves a mixed container of mebel rotan from a Javanese weaving village to your warehouse door.

Why Does a Bali Export Desk Exist at All?
Because Indonesian regulation quietly did furniture importers a favor. Under Trade Regulation Permendag No. 38 of 2017, raw, unprocessed rattan may not be exported from Indonesia, while semi-finished rattan and finished rattan furniture can. Then-Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita, speaking in Cirebon and reported by ANTARA News, confirmed the split: raw cane stays home, processed goods travel.
The effect is structural. Weaving and finishing skill stays concentrated inside Indonesia instead of migrating to overseas factories buying cheap raw cane. If you want finished rattan furniture at origin quality, you buy it here — and buyers do. BPS-Statistics Indonesia reports that Bali Province exported goods worth US$634,496,917 in 2024.
One caution we repeat across this site: rattan export policy has been politically contested before — a prior ban was lifted, then re-evaluated — so we date-stamp every regulatory claim and promise no permanence.
Where Does the Furniture Actually Come From?
Lead times follow the geography. A typical Bali-to-Germany shipment runs 6–10 weeks all-in — production, packing, and sea freight — according to logistics guides for the route, while the Bali-to-Australia sea leg usually takes 2–6 weeks. Air freight exists, but it rarely makes financial sense for bulky woven furniture.
